A construction crafts business, 10 employees

The owner / operations manager is looking for a software for staff administration in respect of working hours reporting and for payroll. Payroll is done with the support of an accountant. The software should provide the hourly reports for payroll processing by the accountant. 9 employees are employed on a monthly salary basis, 2 of them work part-time and 1 employee is a contractor.

With Staff Times you have the following options:

  • Set up the employment terms for the 9 employees with their corresponding weekly working time for overtime tracking and set up a vacation bank. Add the hourly wage employee with the time tracking mode set to "Basic" (ie. without leaves control).

  • For your staff's time tracking use the general activity "At work".

  • Have your employees record time tracking for services and create templates for various jobs and groups for your service orders.

  • Run the hourly report at the end of each month and check the time logged and overtimes in the detail report and export it to Excel / CSV for forwarding to your accountant.

A café snack bar, 5 employees

A café is looking for a staff administration software to manage work schedules, time tracking and payroll. The work schedules are done in-house, but the software should transfer the month-end hourly reports to the payroll provider. The 5 employees are all employed on a monthly salary basis.

With Staff Times you have the following options:

  • Set up the 5 employees with tracking mode "Basic". For time recording, use the general activity "At work".

  • Management of work schedules is not yet possible at Staff Times. As an alternative, the work schedules can be managed on a spreadsheet (Excel). We are happy to provide an Excel template.

  • Check the logged hours at the end of each month. Review time recorded in the detailed report, download it and transfer required detail to the pay slip and to your payroll provider.
