The general Default Settings allow you to apply a time rounding logic to the mobile app's time picker. Your account's default displays the time picker with single minutes. The rounding feature lets you choose minute intervals to apply to the time picker. The minute interval option provides various intervals such as a 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minute intervals. These intervals can further be set to round up, down or to the nearest interval when using the check-in/check-out button on the mobile app. The following illustrates an example of a 15 minute interval with rounding down for check-in start time and rounding up for check-out time. Select your preferences and click Save.

Mobile App

For the updated interval settings to take effect your user must log out of the mobile app (in Miscellaneous hit the Log out) and log in again. Following is an example with 15 minute interval and how this applies to the app.

Time picker

The app's time picker will display the picker with times appearing in increments. In the following example (Android) the second tap displays the minutes in 15 minute increments (00, 15, 30, 45).

In general, the interval & rounding settings apply to Activities configured with Start and End times. The settings to do not apply to input fields with flat hours including Flat break.

Please note that this feature is a general setting which applies at account level. Therefore, deviations are not possible for individual users. If you require different intervals for different users you may need to consider a separate account for those users. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
